Overview
The Sony Cybershot DSC-V1 was released in 2003.
Ergonomics
The DSC-V1 is a considerably large camera for the modern-day user, but it features lots of buttons which allow for speedy setting control. The flash is concealed but pops up if flash is turned on, or auto-flash detects a need for light.
Camera
With flash
With and without flash, images come out sharp and with accurate colors. Zooming in doesn't reduce the quality by too much.
One problem with this camera is that the viewfinder shows a wider shot than the digital screen, so whether you prefer the viewfinder or the screen, it's best to double-check the screen if capturing all edges is important to you.
Charger and battery
The DSCV1 can be charged by removing the battery and charging it in an external docking station. The battery can also be charged within the camera with an AC adapter, but I haven't had any luck with this method despite having the correct cable.
This camera uses an NP-FC11 battery.

My personal thoughts
Despite being bulky and difficult to carry around outdoors, the size of it allows it to have several buttons you can toggle to get different modes and settings without having to search through a menu on the screen. The color quality in almost all lighting conditions come out excellent and the high-quality zoom makes it good for taking photos of animals that might run away if you get too close.
